About the Event
The HPNLU Journal of Tax Law invites scholarly contributions for Volume III (2024). This annual journal provides a platform for academicians, professionals, practitioners, and policymakers to present original insights and in-depth research on tax law. The entries undergo a double-blind peer-review process and are expected to offer novel perspectives, relevant legal analysis, and practical policy impact.
The submission deadline has now been extended to April 10, 2025, offering an additional opportunity for contributors to participate in this reputed academic forum.

Format/Structure
- Articles: 6,000–10,000 words
- Essays & Comments: 4,000–6,000 words
- Book Reviews: 3,000–4,000 words (Must be submitted with a hard copy of the book)
Submission Guidelines:
- Submissions must be in English and in
.docxformat. - Email to: jtl@hpnlu.ac.in with subject line: “Submission to HPNLU-JTL-V3 <Title of Contribution>”
- Manuscripts must include a 250–300 word abstract.
- Co-authorship limited to two authors.
- Referencing must follow HPNLU-Shimla Citation Style.
- Only authoritative sources may be cited; blogs/Wikipedia not allowed.
- Manuscripts with over 10% similarity will be rejected.
Location
The entire submission and review process is online, making it accessible to contributors across India and internationally. The journal is managed by HPNLU, located at:

- Submissions must be original and unpublished.
- All copyrights shall vest with the journal.
