Applicable to – Students who have secured above 80% in the relevant stream from the respective Board of Examination in class XII of 10+2 pattern or equivalent

2. Aditya Birla Scholarship Program

Students can apply for this scholarship through M/s. Aditya Birla Management Corporation Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai, depending on their CLAT scores (i.e the top 20 ranks). The Trust gathers information from all National Law Universities and approves the scholarship using its own selection procedure; the University is then notified of the recipients’ names. The University has no involvement whatsoever in the candidate selection process. Once approved, the Aditya Birla Scholarship will continue until the program is completed (according to the scholarship’s rules and conditions). It pays the whole cost of the program, including hostel fees (up to a maximum of Rs. 1,80,000/-).

The Ministry of Tribal Affairs offers a National Fellowship and Scholarship for Higher Education to students belonging to the Scheduled Tribes (ST). This scholarship, formerly known as the Top Class Education for Schedule Tribe Students, is specifically for providing financial assistance to ST students pursuing higher education. This scholarship is only for funding and does not cover any other type of support.

ICCR Scholarship (Last Date to Apply – 31 May 2024)

The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), a part of the Ministry of External Affairs of the Government of India, offers the ICCR Scholarship. This scholarship specifically targets foreign national students, and the ICCR conducts the selection process.

Once the committee selects the candidates, they share their names with the university the candidates will be attending. The candidates then need to submit a report in a specific format, along with the university’s fee structure.

The ICCR scholarship covers the entire program fee, including hostel charges, and provides an amount equivalent to that given to Indian nationals. Students will continue to receive the scholarship until they complete the program, provided they meet certain terms and conditions. One key condition is that students must pass every year of their program without being detained.
