1. Patent Professionals
Location: New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad
Eligibility:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering (Mechanical, Electronics, IT, Electrical, etc.) or Science (Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology).
- Registered Patent Agents are preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of work experience.
Key Roles:
- Patent Drafting: Preparing patent applications for India, US, EPO, and other jurisdictions, collaborating with inventors, and advising clients on patent strategies.
- Patent Prosecution: Analyzing prior art, preparing Office Action responses, assisting in oppositions, appeals, and revocations.
- Patent Analytics: Conducting searches (novelty, validity, infringement), claim mapping, SEP analysis, and preparing detailed reports.
2. Trademark/Copyright Lawyers
Location: New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad
Eligibility:
- LL.B or LL.M from a reputed law school.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IP law.
- Strong communication and drafting skills.
Key Roles:
- Advising on trademarks, copyrights, and patent issues.
- Drafting and negotiating IP agreements.
- Managing IP litigation and dispute resolution.
- Conducting IP searches and ensuring compliance with IP laws.
3. IP Executives/Paralegals
Location: New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad
Eligibility:
- Graduation in any stream.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in patent and trademark prosecution is preferred.
Key Roles:
- Patent/Trademark Prosecution: Filing patent and trademark applications, monitoring publications, responding to examination reports, and handling formal documents.
- Coordination: Liaising with foreign associate firms for filings and client communication regarding patent office actions.
- Compliance: Ensuring accurate filings for recordal of assignments, licenses, and other related processes.
