The Centre for Parliamentary Studies (CPS) at NLIU Bhopal, in partnership with the Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy, is delighted to announce the Second Edition of the Certificate Course on Legislative Drafting. This virtual course is scheduled to be held from February 3 to February 5, 2025 and is designed for law students, legal professionals, and policy enthusiasts.
About the Course
This specialized course aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of legislative drafting. It covers:
- Traditional Drafting Principles: Legislative style, components of a Bill, and legal provisions.
- Modern Drafting Techniques: Including plain language drafting and the SARAL (Simple, Accessible, Rational, and Actionable Laws) initiative by Vidhi.
- Hands-On Insights: Transforming policy ideas into legally effective legislation.
Participants will engage with expert instructors and explore innovative techniques to craft clear, concise, and impactful legislation.
