About HPNLU, Shimla

The Himachal Pradesh National Law University (HPNLU), Shimla, is a prestigious law school dedicated to academic excellence and legal research. The university’s Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Intellectual Property Rights (CAIIPR) promotes scholarship and discussions at the intersection of AI and IP laws.

In collaboration with SCC Online (Media Partner) and The Indian Society of Artificial Intelligence and Law (Knowledge Partner), HPNLU presents the National Virtual Intellectual Property Rights Essay Writing Competition, 2025.

This competition invites submissions from law students, LLM scholars, and PhD researchers across India. It aims to foster legal research and dialogue on contemporary challenges in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Intellectual Property (IP) laws.

📌 Registration Fee: ₹200 per participant (inclusive of LLM & PhD scholars)
