About the Event

The NLIU-Singhania & Partners National Client Counselling Competition is an annual event designed to develop students’ skills in client interviewing and counselling. The competition simulates lawyer-client interactions, focusing on effective communication, ethical considerations, and the ability to provide sound legal advice.

• Last Date to Register: 15th September 2024

Event Format

The competition will feature multiple rounds, including preliminary, semi-final, and final rounds. Each round involves a client consultation session where teams will demonstrate their ability to understand client issues, offer legal guidance, and propose practical solutions.

• Winning Team: Cash prize of INR 20,000, certificates, and an internship opportunity with Singhania & Partners LLP.
• Runner-Up Team: Cash prize of INR 10,000 and certificates.
• Best Counsel: Certificate of merit.

Registration Details

• Eligibility: Open to law students enrolled in recognized universities and law schools.
• Team Composition: Teams of two students from the same or different institutions are allowed.
• Registration Fee: INR 10,000 per team.
• Application Deadline: 15th September 2024.
