The college is hosting an Expert Session on “Clinical Criminology, Mental Health & Criminal Justice” featuring Prof. (Dr.) Pat Mungroo, an internationally acclaimed academic with over 40 years of experience in mental health, substance abuse, and criminal justice. Holding an MSc and PhD in Clinical Criminology, Prof. Mungroo has served as a Justice of the Peace in Cambridge Criminal Courts and worked with the Adult Drug Division Court, Seattle (USA), contributing to alternative justice models for rehabilitation.

This session will explore the interdisciplinary approach of clinical criminology and its application in forensic settings, with a focus on mental health assessment, criminal responsibility, and rehabilitation of offenders.
