Key Responsibilities

Teaching:

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in law
• Use innovative teaching methodologies to enhance learning outcomes
• Supervise dissertations, student projects, and doctoral research

Research:

• Conduct original research in the field of law
• Publish in reputed national and international journals
• Collaborate with global institutions and seek external funding

Service & Engagement:

• Participate in departmental activities, committees, and events
• Mentor students and junior faculty
• Promote the university’s international and interdisciplinary profile

International Collaboration:

• Engage in faculty exchange and joint academic programs
• Contribute to international curriculum development and teaching

Eligibility Criteria

Assistant Professor:

• Bachelor’s & Master’s degree in Law with minimum 55%
• Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Law or related areas
• Strong academic and research profile

Associate Professor:

• Master’s degree in Law with 55% or equivalent
• Ph.D. in Law or related areas
• Minimum 8 years of experience as Assistant Professor
• At least 7 quality publications

Professor:

• Master’s degree in Law with 55% or equivalent
• Ph.D. in Law or related areas
• Minimum 10 years of teaching/research experience
• At least 10 reputed journal publications

Professor of Practice:

• Minimum 15 years of professional experience in relevant legal sectors
• Senior-level industry position preferred
• Formal degree not mandatory but must demonstrate significant industry contribution
