Key Responsibilities
Teaching:
- Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in law
- Use innovative teaching methodologies to enhance learning outcomes
- Supervise dissertations, student projects, and doctoral research
Research:
- Conduct original research in the field of law
- Publish in reputed national and international journals
- Collaborate with global institutions and seek external funding
Service & Engagement:
- Participate in departmental activities, committees, and events
- Mentor students and junior faculty
- Promote the university’s international and interdisciplinary profile
International Collaboration:
- Engage in faculty exchange and joint academic programs
- Contribute to international curriculum development and teaching
Eligibility Criteria
Assistant Professor:
- Bachelor’s & Master’s degree in Law with minimum 55%
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Law or related areas
- Strong academic and research profile
Associate Professor:
- Master’s degree in Law with 55% or equivalent
- Ph.D. in Law or related areas
- Minimum 8 years of experience as Assistant Professor
- At least 7 quality publications
Professor:
- Master’s degree in Law with 55% or equivalent
- Ph.D. in Law or related areas
- Minimum 10 years of teaching/research experience
- At least 10 reputed journal publications
Professor of Practice:
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience in relevant legal sectors
- Senior-level industry position preferred
- Formal degree not mandatory but must demonstrate significant industry contribution
