About the Competition –
National Law School of India University and Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas (SAM) invite applications from law colleges across India to register for the first edition of the ‘FinTech Moot Court Competition, 2024-2025’ in Bengaluru. T
he competition, scheduled on 14th -15th September 2024, at NLSIU, Bengaluru campus, is set to be centered around the intersection of finance, technology and the regulatory challenges raised by rapid technological developments that fundamentally alter how one delivers and consumes financial services.
It aims to address some of the key emerging issues in fintech regulation.
Dr. Sudhir Krishnaswamy, Vice Chancellor of NLSIU said, “NLSIU has developed research and teaching expertise in financial regulation with an emphasis on fintech regulation over the last 3 years. We’re delighted to collaborate with SAM to host the NLS-SAM-FinTech Moot Court Competition. The Conference will help students, and other academics and professionals, engage with some of the best minds in the field, gain exposure to emerging challenges in the intersection of finance and technology, and to develop innovative legal strategies to respond to this fast developing field.
