About the University/Organization

Manipal Law School, Bengaluru, part of the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), is organizing the inaugural session of the Bangalore Legal Forum. This initiative is supported in collaboration with National Law School of India University, St. Joseph’s College of Law, and School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University). The forum seeks to foster meaningful discussions on pressing legal issues with a strong focus on interdisciplinary dialogue and public engagement.

About the Event

The first session of the Bangalore Legal Forum will host a panel discussion on the theme: “Free Speech and Internet Regulation in India.” As new-age technologies and digital platforms redefine discourse and dissent, the forum seeks to critically analyze challenges and opportunities posed by internet regulation in the context of constitutional free speech.
