The Food Safety & Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) is a statutory body under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. It is responsible for ensuring food safety and compliance with food standards across the country.
About the Internship
The FSSAI Internship Scheme 2025 is designed to provide students with hands-on learning opportunities in food regulation and safety administration. This program aims to bridge the gap between industry and academia, offering interns valuable experience in food laws and policies.

Format/Structure
- The internship will be available throughout the year in different cycles.
- Internships will be offered for a minimum of 2 months and can be extended up to 6 months.
- A stipend of Rs. 10,000 will be provided to deserving candidates based on recommendations from the respective office/division.

Additional Details
- Open to students pursuing full-time graduate/postgraduate degrees in law from recognized institutes in India or abroad (for HQ internships).
- Shortlisted candidates may be required to submit a short write-up or presentation for final selection.
- Selected candidates will be notified online on the FSSAI website.
