About the Opportunity

The firm is looking to hire a dynamic Counsel who will work closely with its core team on high-value matters in sports, gaming, and esports law. This is a unique opportunity for a lawyer with an interest in the business side of sports and gaming to work at the intersection of law, technology, and entertainment.

The selected candidate will be responsible for drafting and negotiating contracts, advising clients on compliance issues, monitoring regulatory developments, and working on high-profile matters in the sports and gaming industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting, vetting, and negotiating agreements across sports, gaming, and esports transactions.
• Advising clients on regulatory, commercial, and compliance issues relevant to the industry.
• Conducting in-depth legal research on emerging trends, regulatory changes, and legal developments impacting sports & gaming.
• Collaborating with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure legally sound outcomes.
• Drafting and reviewing intellectual property, media & entertainment, and data privacy agreements.

Requirements

• LL.B. from a recognized university (LL.M. preferred).
• 1–3 years of post-qualification experience in corporate/commercial law.
• Prior exposure to sports law, intellectual property, media & entertainment, and data privacy will be an advantage.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Strong research abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.

Location: Mumbai / New Delhi
Mode: Full-time, in-office role
