About the Opportunity

Cuerate is urgently hiring for a General Corporate profile. This role is designed for lawyers with 4–7 years of experience who have a background in FEMA, Company Law, JVs, M&A, and contract management. A Company Secretary (CS) qualification is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates will be expected to draft and negotiate MSAs, SOWs, and manage end-to-end corporate legal functions, including LPO exposure.

Format/Structure

Key Requirements:

• LL.B. degree (CS qualification preferred but not mandatory).
• 4–7 years of legal experience in corporate law.
• Strong understanding of:
  • FEMA and company law
  • Mergers & acquisitions
  • Joint ventures
  • Legal Process Outsourcing (LPO)
  • Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and Statements of Work (SOWs)
• Proficiency in contract drafting and review software/tools.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Strong organizational and analytical thinking.
• Capability to work independently and in teams.
