The GNLU-CPIL (Gujarat National Law University – Centre for Public International Law) Magazine invites submissions from experts, professionals, academics, and students. It provides a platform for insightful discussions on Public and Private International Law, Human Rights Law, Humanitarian Law, and Foreign Policy.

About the Call for Articles

GNLU-CPIL Magazine is accepting submissions for Volume 1, Issue 1. Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration for publication elsewhere. The magazine follows a blind review process, ensuring unbiased evaluation.

Submission Deadline

31st March 2025 (11:59 PM IST)

Submission Guidelines

  • Topics: Public or Private International Law, Human Rights Law, Humanitarian Law, Foreign Policy.
  • Word Limit: 3,000 – 3,500 words (exceptions considered on a case-by-case basis).
  • Co-Authorship: Up to two authors allowed.
  • Formatting:
  • Body: Garamond, Font size 12, Line spacing 1.5.
  • Footnotes: Garamond, Font size 10, Line spacing 1.
  • Citations: OSCOLA 4th edition, No hyperlinks allowed.
  • Plagiarism: Strictly prohibited; high levels of similarity will lead to disqualification.
  • Anonymity: The manuscript should not contain author details. Author information must be included only in the submission email.

Review Process

  • The magazine follows a blind review process.
  • Decisions on acceptance/rejection will be communicated within six to eight weeks post-deadline.
  • Authors must refrain from submitting their manuscript elsewhere until the review process is complete.

  • Email your manuscript in .doc or .docx format to cpil@gnlu.ac.in.
