About the Role
Google is hiring a Legal Specialist (Corporate) for its Gurugram office. This role involves handling corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and legal operations for Alphabet subsidiaries across the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. The position requires a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and at least five years of legal work experience.
As a Legal Specialist, you will:
- Support corporate expansions, liquidations, and governance activities.
- Plan and coordinate board and shareholder meetings, including document preparation and filings.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate governance policies.
- Conduct legal research, improve processes, and manage escalations.
- Act as a liaison for internal and external legal stakeholders.
