About the Opportunity

Optimus Legal is inviting applications for multiple Associate roles across three of its key verticals: Dispute Resolution, General Corporate Advisory, and Real Estate. These roles are ideal for legal professionals with 1–4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) who are looking to deepen their practical knowledge, appear before courts, or work on major corporate transactions.

The firm is currently hiring for its New Delhi office only.

Format and Structure

There are three separate openings:

1. Dispute Resolution Team (Delhi Office)

• Eligibility: PQE 1–2 years and PQE 3–4 years
• Role Description:
  • Appear before High Courts, District Courts, NCLT, NCDRC
  • Prepare legal drafts including petitions, pleadings, and legal notices
  • Engage in client conferences and assist senior counsels
  • Manage case files, timelines, and court procedures

2. General Corporate Advisory Team (Delhi Office)

• Eligibility: PQE 1–2 years
• Role Description:
  • Drafting of shareholder agreements, term sheets, NDAs, and compliance advisories
  • Advising startups, SMEs, and MNCs on Indian company law, FDI, and commercial contracts
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams for due diligence
  • Conducting legal research and risk assessments

3. Real Estate Team (Delhi Office)

• Eligibility: PQE 1–2 years
• Role Description:
  • Reviewing title documents, agreements for sale, lease deeds, and RERA compliance
  • Advising clients on property laws, land due diligence, and regulatory framework
  • Liaising with registrars, revenue departments, and government bodies
  • Supporting transactional documentation and negotiations

Eligibility

• Must possess LL.B. or equivalent degree from a recognized university
• Must be enrolled with the Bar Council of India
• PQE should align with the respective team requirement (1–2 years or 3–4 years)
• Strong command over legal drafting, research, and client communication
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple matters
• Familiarity with court etiquettes and litigation documentation

A: No. These roles are specifically for candidates with 1–4 years PQE.
