About the Opportunity

BMW Group Financial Services is looking to engage a Legal Professional on a contractual basis to support its legal department with corporate, regulatory, and operational legal work. This is a full-time position located in Gurgaon, and is best suited for legal professionals with 4–6 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) who thrive in dynamic corporate settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal agreements related to finance, leasing, vendor management, and regulatory compliance.
• Providing legal advice and support across departments to ensure corporate governance and compliance with applicable laws (including RBI, SEBI, Companies Act).
• Liaising with external counsels for litigation matters and advisory inputs.
• Conducting legal research, preparing internal notes, and updating stakeholders on legal risks and mitigation strategies.
• Supporting due diligence and audits from a legal compliance perspective.
• Assisting in policy review and corporate documentation procedures in line with global and national standards.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualifications:

• LL.B. or equivalent law degree from a recognized university.
• Enrollment with any State Bar Council is mandatory.

Experience:

• 4 to 6 years of post-qualification experience.
• Prior experience in corporate legal teams, NBFCs, or financial institutions will be preferred.

Key Skills:

• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Expertise in contracts, corporate law, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in high-pressure corporate environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with tools like MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and contract management platforms (preferred but not mandatory).
