About the Role
PwC Germany is hiring a Litigation & Arbitration Lawyer (Rechtsanwalt – Litigation/Arbitration w/m/d) to join its Berlin office. The role involves client representation in high-profile disputes involving post-M\&A conflicts, director liability, banking litigation, and capital markets, with a strong focus on state court and arbitral proceedings.

Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in litigation before German courts and international arbitration tribunals
- Handle corporate, post-M\&A, and capital market-related disputes
- Participate in model declaratory actions and class proceedings
- Advise clients on commercial, insolvency, and director liability disputes
- Manage case strategy, expert coordination, and legal submissions
- Assist with antitrust damage claims and related negotiations
- Collaborate across teams on multi-jurisdictional litigation

Eligibility
Minimum Requirements:
- German-qualified lawyer with two above-average state exams (Zweites Staatsexamen)
- Licensed to practice law in Germany
- Excellent command of German and English (spoken & written)
- Ability to grasp and communicate complex legal ideas effectively
- Strong motivation to work in dispute resolution
Preferred (but not mandatory):
- Experience in litigation, arbitration, or corporate law
- Familiarity with post-M\&A disputes, antitrust law, or insolvency
- Commercial mindset with strong conceptual thinking
