About the Role
India House is seeking a Senior Research Associate – Public Policy to lead impactful research projects at the intersection of policy and social development. This role offers an opportunity to merge rigorous research with real-world application, contributing to thought leadership and policy advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct secondary research on volunteering, youth empowerment, disaster management, and mental health.
- Develop blogs, articles, and reports that translate research into actionable insights.
- Collaborate with academicians and experts for long-term research projects, white papers, and policy papers.
- Organize roundtables, seminars, and conferences to foster meaningful discussions.
- Advocate for policy change while promoting India’s civilizational values.
- Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve shared research goals.
Who We Are Looking For
- Passionate researcher interested in public policy, advocacy, and Indian Knowledge Systems.
- Excellent writer capable of presenting complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives.
- Prior experience in civil society ecosystems in India and/or the US.
- Deep understanding of Indian culture, history, and governance frameworks.
