About the Opportunity

Alba Law Offices is currently hiring for the position of Senior Associate – Real Estate, focusing on Due Diligence, Documentation, and Transactional Advisory. This is a strategic role suited for legal professionals who have 6 to 7 years of PQE in real estate transactions, land due diligence, and property documentation. Key Responsibilities

Real Estate Advisory

• Advising clients on legal and regulatory issues related to real estate transactions.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant property laws, local regulations, and state-wise land statutes.
• Handling negotiations and providing strategic legal inputs in real estate transactions.

Transactional Support

• Drafting and vetting of critical real estate documents, including:
  • Lease Deeds
  • Sale Deeds
  • Agreements to Sell
  • Joint Development Agreements
• Providing counsel on stamp duty, registration procedures, and other transactional compliance requirements.

Due Diligence

• Conducting in-depth title due diligence of land parcels and built-up properties.
• Reviewing and analyzing:
  • Ownership records
  • Encumbrance certificates
  • Mutation and revenue records
  • Land use permissions
  • Development approvals
  • Disclosures related to ongoing litigation
• Preparing comprehensive legal risk reports with strategic recommendations for clients and internal stakeholders.
