About the Internship

Case Matters is inviting applications for two (2) Legal Intern positions for August 2025.

This hybrid internship is ideal for LL.B. graduates or final-year students who are keen to build expertise in arbitration law and contract drafting. Interns will work under the direct mentorship of senior professionals, assisting with arbitration proceedings, drafting documents under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, and engaging in contract vetting and redlining.

The role is structured to provide day-one involvement in live matters, enabling interns to gain practical learning in a supportive yet challenging professional environment.

Format and Structure

• Mode: Hybrid (Combination of in-office and remote work)
• Timings: 10 AM – 7 PM (full-day commitment)

Key Responsibilities

1. Arbitration
   • Drafting notices, pleadings, admissions/denials, affidavits, and final argument synopses.
   • Drafting applications and replies under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act.
   • Researching the latest developments in arbitration law, especially in infrastructure and construction disputes.
2. Contract Management
   • Drafting, vetting, and redlining contracts and agreements.

Evaluation Criteria: Interns will be assessed on drafting quality, research accuracy, and their ability to adapt to practical dispute resolution scenarios.
