About the Competition:

ICFAI Law School is hosting its 1st Virtual National Mediation Competition on February 9-10 to promote awareness of Alternative Dispute Resolution mechanisms like mediation among aspiring lawyers.

Eligibility:

Open to bona fide students pursuing Law three/five-year degree programs in colleges/universities recognized by the Bar Council of India.

Important Dates:

– Registration Open: January 8, 2024

– Last Date of Registration: January 28, 2024

– Last Date of Clarification: January 29, 2024

– Release of Clarification: January 31, 2024

– Inauguration (Prelims & Quarters): February 9, 2024

– Semi-Final, Finals & Valedictory: February 10, 2024

Team Composition:

Each team must consist of three members from the same institution or college. One team per institute is allowed. The team includes a Mediator and a Mediating Pair (Counsel and Client).

Awards:

– Winning Team: Cash prize of Rs.7,000 and internship opportunity at Mediate Guru.

– Runners-up Team: Cash prize of Rs.5,000 and scholarship in the CIRC-Weवाद ODR learning course.

– Best Mediator: Cash prize of Rs.5,000 and internship opportunity at Mediate Guru.

– Runner-up Mediator: Cash prize of Rs.4,000 and internship opportunity at Weवाद.
