Scope of Work
As an Immigration Attorney, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Client Engagement:
- Conduct comprehensive client intakes to gather the necessary information for immigration cases, ensuring a thorough understanding of each client’s needs and circumstances.
- Case Preparation:
- Assist in preparing various immigration applications, including Family Petitions, U Visas, Asylum applications, and Naturalization filings for submission to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR).
- Draft and finalize all required legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable immigration laws and regulations.
- Administrative Support:
- Organize final application packages and manage all administrative tasks associated with immigration filings.
- Provide general administrative support as needed, facilitating the efficient operation of the legal team.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay informed about changes in immigration law and policy to ensure that all cases are handled in accordance with the latest regulations.
- Participate in legal research as necessary to support ongoing immigration cases and initiatives.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Immigration Attorney position should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Experience: 0 to 5 years of experience in immigration law, with a focus on preparing and managing U.S. immigration cases.
- Skills:
