Through this event, scholars, academics, legal practitioners, and students will critically assess:

  • The capacity of courts to uphold fundamental rights
  • The tension between judicial restraint and activism

This conference provides a platform for original research, debate, and dialogue on how courts and tribunals shape the justice narrative in contemporary democracies.
