About the Organizer
The event is hosted by the Centre for Development of Intellectual Property and Research (CDIPR), a research body of the Naovina Development of Intellectual Property and Research Foundation, a Section 8 Non-profit Organization. In collaboration with the Global Innovation Policy Center (GIPC) and Open Invention Network (OIN), CDIPR aims to promote cutting-edge research, inclusive dialogue, and policy frameworks in the field of intellectual property and innovation.
About the Event
This International Conference is part of the 2nd South Asian Global Intellectual Property Summit 2025. It is a pivotal platform designed to facilitate interdisciplinary discussion and knowledge exchange on Standard Essential Patents (SEPs), innovation ecosystems, FRAND licensing, competition law, and the legal-technological implications of patents in sectors such as 5G, AI, IoT, and Green Technology.
The conference invites patent experts, innovation leaders, technologists, legal professionals, academicians, and students to explore regulatory, commercial, and social implications of SEPs from a South Asian and Global South perspective.
