About the International Internship Program:
Equa’s International Internship Program is designed to offer students and recent graduates an opportunity to gain valuable experience in the field of ADR. The program provides exposure to real-time mediation, arbitration proceedings, and dispute resolution under the supervision of experienced registry officials. The internship offers placements based on candidates’ locations, with in-office and online modes available.
The internship focuses on various sectors, including family disputes, commercial disputes, inheritance, and property disputes, while also helping participants gain hands-on experience in legal research, drafting, and case management.
Key Opportunities:
- Real-Time ADR Exposure: Get involved in live ADR proceedings, whether in-person or online.
- International Experience: Work with registry officials across various countries and gain insights into how disputes are resolved globally.
- Skill Development: Enhance your skills in legal research, case management, dispute resolution, and mediation.
- Cross-Cultural Experience: Participate in global initiatives designed to promote efficient dispute resolution while engaging with different cultures and legal frameworks.
Eligibility Criteria:
- At least 3 years of university studies in Law or Management.
- Good command of English and the local language of the preferred location.
- A genuine interest in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), Online Dispute Resolution (ODR), international law, and business transactions.
- Willingness to travel for mediation meetings and programs (in-office internship only).
- Normally under 20 years of age.
Internship Responsibilities:
- Legal Research: Conduct in-depth research on international law, commercial disputes, and administrative matters.
- Case Management: Assist Case Managers in carrying out resolution proceedings.
- Dispute Resolution Support: Attend resolution meetings/hearings and prepare relevant reports, background material, and papers.
- Legal Advisory: Provide legal advice on substantive and procedural issues, including management and administrative tasks at the Registry.

- Stipend: $100 per month or equivalent in local currency (in-office internships only; online internships are unpaid).
