About the University/Organization

Madhya Pradesh State Legal Services Authority (MPSLSA) is a statutory body constituted under the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987. Headquartered in Jabalpur, it aims to provide free and competent legal aid to the marginalized and economically weaker sections of society. MPSLSA actively organizes Lok Adalats and awareness programs to promote equal access to justice and alternate dispute resolution mechanisms across the state.


About the Event

MPSLSA is offering a 21-day structured internship program for law students to gain exposure to the functioning of Legal Services Authorities, Lok Adalats, and mechanisms for legal aid and justice delivery. This internship is designed to provide insights into grassroots legal services administration and the social justice system.

Format and Structure

The internship will consist of:

  • Orientation sessions on legal aid and the role of legal services authorities
  • Field visits to courts, legal aid clinics, and Lok Adalats
  • Interaction with legal aid counsels and judicial officers
  • Report submission and group discussions on legal awareness campaigns

Evaluation will be based on participation, attendance, and submission of a final report. Interns will receive completion certificates.
