About the Centre for Child Rights, NUSRL
The Centre for Child Rights (CCR) at the National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi, is a dedicated research and advocacy hub focusing on child rights and protection. The Centre engages in research, policy analysis, and fieldwork to enhance legal and social frameworks that ensure the welfare of children.
About the Internship
CCR, NUSRL, is pleased to announce its one-month internship opportunity for individuals passionate about child rights and protection. This internship provides a platform for participants to engage in research, analysis, and practical application of child rights laws and policies. The internship is available in both online and offline modes, allowing selected students to contribute remotely or at the Centre’s office in Ranchi.

Format/Structure
The internship involves legal research, case studies, and practical fieldwork. Interns will work on key issues related to child protection, particularly focusing on the Jharkhand region. Participants in the offline mode will conduct field visits, interviews, and situational analyses with stakeholders.

Eligibility
- Law Students: Must be enrolled in any year of a 3-year or 5-year law program from a BCI and UGC-recognized institution.
- Child Rights Activists & Professionals: Must be actively engaged in the field of child rights and hold a degree from a recognized Indian university, irrespective of the discipline.
Tasks to be Performed
- Conduct in-depth research on child protection issues, with a focus on Jharkhand.
- Prepare and present case studies on significant legal and policy challenges in child rights.
- For Offline Interns: Conduct fieldwork, collect data, perform situational analysis, and engage in Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) with key stakeholders.
