About the Event

PledgePay invites applications for its Legal Internship Program on a rolling basis, ideally suited for law students with a demonstrated interest in fintech, finance, and regulatory compliance. This 3–6 month hybrid internship (Delhi NCR preferred) provides immersive experience in financial sector regulations, legal research, and product compliance. Although the internship is unpaid, top performers will be considered for a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) and receive valuable exposure, training, and mentorship.

Format/Structure

• Eligibility:
  • 2nd/3rd year students (5-year law program)
  • Final-year students (3-year law program)
• Preferred Skills:
  • Legal research on RBI, SEBI, and fintech laws
  • Drafting & negotiation of contracts (NDAs, vendor agreements, T&Cs)
  • Understanding of KYC, payments, data privacy laws
  • Strong English writing, analytical & communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Legal research & memos on RBI, SEBI, KYC, digital lending regulations
• Drafting commercial contracts, policies, and internal templates
• Compliance tracking and product vetting for regulatory alignment
• Liaising with legal counsel and assisting in IP & corporate governance
• Supporting dispute resolution and legal notice replies
• Preparing simplified legal updates for internal teams
