About the Organisation
The National Legal Services Authority (NALSA), established under the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987, plays a critical role in providing free legal services to the weaker sections of society and organising Lok Adalats for the amicable settlement of disputes. NALSA also works to promote access to justice and legal awareness across India.
With its commitment to spreading legal literacy and ensuring justice for all, NALSA has consistently taken steps to involve young law students in its mission through a structured internship programme that provides practical legal experience and deep insights into the working of legal aid systems in India.
About the Internship
The NALSA Internship Programme – 2025 is aimed at law students across India, providing an immersive experience into the workings of a premier legal institution. The internship is designed to equip students with knowledge and skills through field visits, legal research, case study analysis, and interaction with officers involved in the justice delivery mechanism.
This internship is a full-time, offline programme conducted at NALSA Headquarters, New Delhi, and starts on the 1st day of every month.
