About the Opportunity:
NITI Aayog initiated an Internship Scheme in 2015 to engage students pursuing UG/Graduate/PG Degrees or Research Scholars enrolled in recognized universities/institutions within India or abroad. The internship duration ranges from at least 6 weeks to a maximum of 6 months.
Eligibility Criteria:
– UG students who have completed/appeared in the term-end exams of the 2nd year/4th semester of the bachelor degree course with not less than 85% marks in the 12th class.
– Graduate students who have completed/appeared in the term-end exams of the first year/2nd semester of their post-graduate program or pursuing research/Ph.D. with not less than 70% marks in Graduation.
– Students who have completed Graduation/PG and are waiting for admission for higher studies, provided they have secured 70% or more cumulative marks till the date of application.
– The period between the declaration of the final exam result and the desired month of the internship should not exceed 6 months.
Application Procedure:
– Interested applicants must apply online on the NITI Aayog website by February 10, 2023.
– Applications can be made six months in advance but not later than 2 months before the desired month of the internship.
– Applicants must indicate their area of interest clearly.
– Each candidate can apply for an internship only once during a financial year.
– Selected candidates must produce original mark sheets and NOC from the college/institution at the time of joining.
