The Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trade Marks (CGPDTM) operates under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. The CGPDTM Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Internship Programme offers an exceptional opportunity for law students, science and engineering graduates, research scholars, and IPR professionals to gain firsthand experience in India’s IP system. Available in both offline and online modes, the program is designed to deepen understanding of IP laws, foster practical exposure to IP administration, and support national IPR policy objectives.
