Format and Structure

Key Responsibilities:

  • Legal research and analysis on issues arising in international commercial and investment arbitration
  • Drafting legal memos, case notes, and procedural documents
  • Preparing materials for hearings and arbitrator briefings
  • Assisting with bilingual legal translation (English and French)
  • Monitoring developments in arbitration law and compiling insights

Eligibility

Open to:

  • Final-year law students or recent graduates (LL.B., LL.M., or equivalent)
  • Prior coursework or internship experience in international arbitration or public international law preferred
  • Fluency in English is mandatory
  • Working knowledge of French is highly preferred
  • Additional languages (Spanish, Russian, Arabic) are a plus

Required Skills:

  • Excellent legal research and writing abilities
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a high-intensity dispute resolution environment
  • Familiarity with arbitral rules (ICC, ICSID, LCIA, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and legal databases (e.g., KluwerArbitration)
