CfP: National Seminar on IP and The SDGS by CSRIPR, Ranchi [April 26; Hybrid]: Submit by April 22

National Seminar on Intellectual Property (IP) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is being organized by CSRIPR Ranchi on April 26, 2024. The deadline for paper submission is April 22.

About the Seminar:

The seminar titled "IP and the SDGs: Building Our Common Future with Innovation and Creativity" is scheduled on the occasion of World IP Day. This event aims to explore the intricate relationship between Intellectual Property (IP) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By promoting innovation and creativity within the framework of IP, the seminar endeavors to contribute to a future where prosperity is inclusive, innovation thrives, and creativity forms the bedrock of sustainable development.

Sub-themes:

1. Healthcare Innovations and Protection of Intellectual Property.

2. Advancements in Agriculture and Conservation of Biodiversity.

3. Green Technology and Intellectual Property.

4. Strategies for Sustainable Innovation with Intellectual Property.

5. Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) in Emerging Technologies.

6. Intellectual Property Rights in Space Exploration and Sustainable Technologies.

7. Intellectual Property Rights in the Entertainment Industry for Social Impact.

8. Technology and Intellectual Property Rights.

9. Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Intellectual Property Rights.

10. Any other topic pertinent to Intellectual Property Rights and Sustainable Development Goals.

Call for Papers:

Abstracts of a minimum of 300 words are invited on the aforementioned sub-themes. Participation is open to students, researchers, academicians, and professionals. Revised full papers are required to be submitted before the conference for publication.

Important Dates:

– Submission of Full Paper with Abstract: April 22, 2024

– Seminar Date: April 26, 2024

Abstract Submission Guidelines:

– Abstract should be between 300-500 words.

– Include 5-7 keywords.

– Abstract should be divided into a minimum of 3 paragraphs.

– Title of the Chapter should be in Times New Roman, 14 size font, Bold, Capital Letters. Author’s details including Name, Current Designation, Institution name, Phone number, and e-mail id should be provided below the Title. Abstract should be in Times New Roman, 12 size font, in italics.

Paper Submission Guidelines:

– Papers should be between 5000-8000 words.

– Footnotes should follow Bluebook 20th Edition.

– Submission should be in Times New Roman, 12 font size with 1.5 line spacing, justified text, and 1-inch margins on all sides of an A4 sheet.

– Footnotes should be in Times New Roman, 10-font size with 1.0 line spacing.

– Original work is required. Avoid AI-generated content, limiting it to a maximum of 10%.

– Plagiarism should not exceed 10%.

– Submissions should prioritize clarity and simplicity in language, avoiding unnecessary jargon or overly complex sentences.
