About the Internship:

The NCGG Internship Programme offers short-term engagements (minimum 8 weeks to maximum 6 months) for selected students with various verticals and units of the National Centre for Good Governance. It provides an opportunity for Indian youth to gain exposure to governance and public policy-related issues and contribute to citizen-centric governance initiatives.

Eligibility:

– Open to Indian students studying in India or abroad.

– Graduates, post-graduates, and those pursuing advanced academic degrees are eligible.

– Students enrolled in 4-5 year law and engineering courses during their final year of graduation can also apply.

– Age should not exceed 30 years at the time of application.

– Letter of recommendation from the university/institution is required.

Areas of Internship:

Interns may work in various domains including public policy, governance, education, e-governance, rural development, environmental sustainability, disaster resilience, infrastructure, innovation, climate change, etc.

Duration of Internship:

Internship duration ranges from a minimum of 8 weeks to a maximum of 6 months.

Logistics and Support:

Interns must arrange for their own travel, boarding, and lodging.

NCGG will provide working space, internet facility, and other necessary support.

Honorarium:

A stipend of INR 10,000 per month will be paid to each intern.

No other expenses will be reimbursed.

Obligations and Attendance:

Interns will be integrated into the daily workings of the Centre and assigned supervisors for guidance.

Minimum 80% attendance is mandatory.

Interns must maintain good conduct and confidentiality.

A final report and presentation are required for completion.

Experience Certificate:

Interns will receive a certificate upon successful completion of the internship.

Termination of Internship:

The Centre reserves the right to terminate internships at any time.

Interns may choose to terminate by giving one week's notice.

Selection Process:

Applications are invited through the NCGG website.

The selection process includes preliminary screening and personal interviews.

Selected candidates will be notified via email.

Application Procedure:

Applications can be submitted from the 1st to the 10th of each month.
