About the Event
NLSIU is inviting applications from scholars, practitioners, and professionals to teach Elective Courses in the second trimester of the Academic Year 2025–26.
The trimester runs from November 3, 2025, to January 23, 2026. Elective courses at NLSIU form a crucial part of the curriculum, providing students the flexibility to engage with advanced subjects beyond the core curriculum.
Elective courses can take different forms based on the faculty’s expertise:
- Taught Course – Predominantly lecture and discussion-based, culminating in an exam.
- Research Course – Focused on reviewing primary and secondary research, leading to a term paper.
- Practice or Clinical Course – Designed around fieldwork, simulations, drafting, or litigation exercises, evaluated through clinical methods.
This opportunity is ideal for academics and practitioners looking to engage with motivated law students and bring real-world insights into the classroom.
