Key Responsibilities
As a Junior Associate in IP Litigation, you will be expected to take on a variety of research and case-related duties, supporting senior attorneys in litigation and client advisory services. This role will help you develop a strong foundation in legal research, drafting, and courtroom experience, especially focused on intellectual property law.
- Legal Research: Conduct in-depth legal research on prior legislation, case precedents, and legal principles relevant to IP litigation.
- Drafting and Preparing Legal Documents: Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents, including plaints, written statements, applications, and memorandums.
- Case File Management: Organize and manage case files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and ready for court submissions.
- Client Interaction: Serve as a point of contact for clients, updating them on case progress, gathering relevant information, and addressing inquiries related to ongoing litigation.
- Courtroom Assistance: Support senior attorneys during court hearings, including helping with drafting, research, and strategizing legal arguments.
