Significance of Labour Laws
Labour law is a crucial area with wide-reaching impacts on employers, employees, consumers, and the national economy. With the advent of globalization, liberalization, and technological advancements, new challenges have emerged, particularly for unskilled workers in developing countries like India. The COVID-19 pandemic exacerbated these issues, severely affecting migrant workers and daily wagers, with unemployment rates rising sharply.

The main thrust of the conference will be to identify contemporary legal issues in labour and industrial laws and chart out a roadmap for resolving various challenges through legal means. The following sub-themes have been recognized for the conference:
- Issues in Remuneration/Wages of Labour
- Issues in Social Security Provisions of Labour
- Issues in Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions of Labour
- Issues in Industrial Relations
Objectives and Expected Outcomes
The conference aims to promote ideas on maintaining a balance between the interests of various stakeholders like employers, employees, and governments. It is planned to be a platform for experts to brainstorm and suggest workable solutions for contemporary challenges related to wages, social security, and occupational safety.
Eligibility and Submission Guidelines
The conference is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students, PhD scholars, academicians, industry experts, and professionals. Submissions should be original works adhering to the following guidelines:
- Abstract (250-300 words) describing the submission’s idea, structure, and conclusion
- No plagiarism allowed
- Co-authorship permitted up to two authors
- Bluebook 20th edition citation style
- Times New Roman font, size 12 with 1.5 line spacing for main text, and size 10 with 1.0 line spacing for footnotes
- The title must be in Times New Roman, Font Size 14, in CAPITALS, Bold, aligned CENTRE;
- The body of the manuscript should be in Times New Roman, with Font Size 12, and 1.5-line spacing, automatic spacing between paragraphs, and aligned JUSTIFIED;
- A margin of 1 inch shall be left on all sides;
- Each abstract shall be accompanied by 5-7 keywords.
- The abstract and paper shall be shared in PDF format with the file name ;
- Each Abstract and Final Paper should be accompanied by a cover letter mentioning the following details:

- Institutional Affiliation(s) of Author(s)
- Contact Detail(s) of Author(s)
