Format/Structure

• Eligibility: Open to all law students enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate programs in India.
• Authorship: Single and co-authored submissions (up to 2 co-authors) are allowed.
• Theme: Any topic related to law.
• Word Count: 1,000 to 3,000 words (excluding footnotes and references).
• Language: English.
• Citation Style: Hyperlinks or proper citations following Lawpret’s Contributor Guidelines.

• Originality: Essays must be original and unpublished. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited (limit: 25%).
• Formatting: Submissions must comply with Lawpret’s Contributor Guidelines.
• Submission Email: Send essays to contest@lawpret.com with the subject line: “Contest – [Your Article Title]”.
• File Format: Attach your essay in .doc or .docx format.

Cancellation Policy: In the event that fewer than 20 valid submissions are received, the competition may be canceled. However, all participants will receive a ₹500 Trovana voucher.
