The London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) is one of the world’s leading institutions for international commercial arbitration and alternative dispute resolution (ADR). With a legacy dating back to 1892, the LCIA plays a vital role in facilitating impartial and effective resolution of international disputes. The LCIA Casework Internship Programme is designed to offer graduates a hands-on and immersive experience in international arbitration. It provides selected interns with a structured opportunity to understand the casework process, interact with experienced Counsel, and contribute meaningfully to the administration of arbitration and ADR matters.
This internship is ideal for law graduates interested in international dispute resolution and looking to gain direct exposure to real-world arbitration proceedings. Interns will work full-time from the LCIA’s headquarters in London, with active mentorship and professional guidance.

The internship supports two candidates per intake and runs for a continuous six-month period. Selected interns will:
Venue: LCIA, 1 Paternoster Lane, London EC4M 7BQ, United Kingdom
Mode: Offline (in-person, full-time internship in London)
Prizes: Paid internship (above London Living Wage)
Certification: Interns will receive experience certification upon successful completion.
Mentorship: Interns will receive direct mentorship from an LCIA Counsel throughout the internship.
None – Participation is free of cost.
Interns will be mentored by a member of the LCIA’s casework team who will be responsible for their induction and performance evaluation.
