Format and Structure
The internship is fully remote and structured over a 4–5 week period with an expected time commitment of 160–200 hours.
Structure includes:
- Virtual onboarding and orientation
- Weekly mentorship with Deel and Queen’s University faculty
- Research assignments focusing on labor regulation, collective bargaining, healthcare law, remote worker rights, etc.
- Drafting legal memos, annotating case law, and policy writing
- Final presentation and peer review
Evaluation will be based on:

- Research quality and adherence to deadlines
