About the Trainee Program

Prudential Health India is inviting applications from fresh law graduates for the Legal and Privacy Trainee position. This full-time, in-office role in Mumbai offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of law, technology, and insurance innovation. The selected trainee will assist in areas such as regulatory compliance, data privacy, policy drafting, contract review, and awareness initiatives related to cybersecurity and privacy.

Format/Structure

This is a full-time opportunity offering hands-on training in:

• Researching IRDAI regulations and internal group policies
• Drafting internal legal and privacy documents
• Creating data flow diagrams and data dictionaries for personal data
• Reviewing contracts for IRDAI and privacy compliance
• Drafting customer-facing privacy and consent documentation
• Coordinating privacy awareness campaigns for various internal teams

Mentorship and guidance will be provided by the Legal Manager and the Group’s Information Security & Privacy division.

Additional Details

Eligibility:

• Fresh law graduates (LL.B./J.D. or equivalent)
• Previous internship experience in legal privacy/cybersecurity roles preferred
• Strong legal research and drafting capabilities
• Proficiency in English and MS Office tools

Preferred Skills:

• Interest in cybersecurity, privacy law, and technology
• Familiarity with AI tools for content creation
• Background or curiosity in computer applications
