About the Role

Liberty General Insurance is hiring a Legal Apprentice for its Mumbai office. This opportunity is ideal for law graduates or final-year law students looking to gain hands-on experience in contract law, consumer protection laws, and regulatory compliance within the insurance sector.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and assist in contract drafting.
• Ensure compliance with consumer protection laws and regulatory guidelines.
• Handle legal documentation and support the legal team in day-to-day operations.
• Work on IRDAI regulations and GIC compliance matters.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data handling, formatting, and applying basic formulas.
• Effectively communicate and coordinate across various departments.

Eligibility Criteria

• Law graduate or final-year law student.
• Strong understanding of contract law and consumer protection laws.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the insurance sector.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience or internship in contract drafting, insurance law, or consumer law.
• Knowledge of IRDAI regulations and general insurance compliance requirements.
