About the Role
Paytm, part of One97 Communications, is currently recruiting for a Deputy Manager in their Legal Contracts (Technology) team. This role will manage legal and contractual matters, identifying legal risks, and negotiating contracts for the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize contracts, letters, proposals, and RFPs.
- Handle contractual issues involving clients, partners, and vendors.
- Liaise with internal teams (Business, Finance, Tech) to ensure timely agreement closures.
- Analyze business needs, identify risks, and propose legal solutions.
- Ensure adherence to legal frameworks, policies, and mandates.
- Manage end-to-end legal oversight of assigned business transactions.
Skills Required:
- 5-6 years of contract management experience in the Fintech or Technology space.
- Strong legal acumen and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Word/MS Office.
- Law degree (L.L.B or L.L.M).
