About the Role

Paytm, part of One97 Communications, is currently recruiting for a Deputy Manager in their Legal Contracts (Technology) team. This role will manage legal and contractual matters, identifying legal risks, and negotiating contracts for the organization.

Responsibilities:

1. Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize contracts, letters, proposals, and RFPs.
2. Handle contractual issues involving clients, partners, and vendors.
3. Liaise with internal teams (Business, Finance, Tech) to ensure timely agreement closures.
4. Analyze business needs, identify risks, and propose legal solutions.
5. Ensure adherence to legal frameworks, policies, and mandates.
6. Manage end-to-end legal oversight of assigned business transactions.

Skills Required:

• 5-6 years of contract management experience in the Fintech or Technology space.
• Strong legal acumen and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Word/MS Office.
• Law degree (L.L.B or L.L.M).
