PrimEra Medical Technologies is seeking a talented and motivated Legal Counsel / Senior Legal Counsel to join its legal team in Hyderabad. This role is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional with a passion for healthcare and technology, particularly those with an LLM degree from a USA Law School. As a Legal Counsel, you will work closely with the leadership team and on-site counterparts to ensure the company’s compliance with US federal laws and manage various legal matters.

Key Responsibilities
As a Legal Counsel / Senior Legal Counsel at PrimEra Medical Technologies, you will be responsible for providing legal expertise in various areas, ensuring compliance with US laws, and offering support across the organization:
- Legal Document Drafting:
- Draft, review, and finalize legal documents, including contracts, agreements, demand letters, and complaints.Ensure that all contracts and agreements protect the company’s legal interests and comply with US federal regulations.
- US Federal Law Compliance:
- Provide legal advice and ensure adherence to US Federal Laws, focusing on areas related to healthcare regulations and data privacy.
- Stay updated with recent legal developments, and assess the impact of new laws on the company’s operations.
- Contractual Obligations and Risk Management:
- Analyze and manage complex legal matters involving multiple stakeholders.Assist in risk management by identifying potential legal risks in contracts and advising on mitigation strategies.
- Collaboration with Leadership:
- Work closely with the on-site leadership team in the US and manage legal matters in collaboration with them.
- Facilitate internal communications to ensure all legal requirements are met across various departments and business functions.

- Work Shifts:
- Be comfortable with working shifts as required by the leadership team to meet business demands and collaborate with US counterparts in real-time.
- Client Communication:
- Engage in client communication to resolve legal issues and provide sound legal advice that aligns with the company’s objectives.Ensure client contracts and agreements comply with US healthcare regulations and privacy laws.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Educational Qualification: LLM degree from a USA Law School is mandatory.
- Experience: 0 to 5 years of relevant legal experience in healthcare law, corporate law, or contract drafting.
- Knowledge of US Federal Laws: Comprehensive understanding of US legal frameworks, particularly those related to healthcare and data privacy.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work under pressure.
- Problem-solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal matters and provide solutions in high-pressure environments.
- Collaboration: Ability to work with a global team and ensure that legal matters are aligned with business objectives.
