About the Opportunity

ValueLabs is hiring a Legal Executive (IP Firm) for its Hyderabad office. This full-time, on-site role involves contract drafting and negotiation, managing the company’s IP portfolio, overseeing external IP firm vendors, and handling various corporate legal matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and redline various agreements, including MSA, NDA, LOI, Data Security Agreements, SOWs, and other IT contracts.
• Manage the company’s IP portfolio and maintain a data repository for IP matters.
• Negotiate contracts with prospective clients and vendor attorneys to ensure timely agreement closures.
• Liaise with and manage business relations with external IP firms for IP filing, prosecution, and advisory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal departments and stakeholders (finance, delivery, security, executive teams) to finalize contracts.
• Identify risks in contracts and company operations for effective risk mitigation.
• Provide legal advice on corporate matters.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Primary Skill Set

• LLB/LLM from a reputed law school.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Strong understanding of Contracts Law, Intellectual Property Laws, Labor Laws, and corporate governance statutes.
• Experience in an IP law firm is preferred.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Secondary Skill Set

• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Word and MS Excel.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Knowledge of the technology industry is an added advantage.
