About the Opportunity

Mother Sparsh is currently hiring for the role of Legal Head to join their team at the Chandigarh office. The role is ideal for experienced legal professionals with a strong foundation in Intellectual Property (IP) law, particularly in Trademark Law, legal drafting, and dispute resolution. Candidates will be entrusted with end-to-end IP protection, litigation support, legal advisory, and compliance work, playing a critical role in safeguarding the brand’s innovation-driven identity.

Format/Structure

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct trademark searches, filings, and opposition proceedings
• Draft cease & desist notices, affidavits under Sec 45, and rectification pleadings
• Manage litigation related to injunctions and IP disputes
• Maintain trademark databases and documentation
• Draft contracts and legal documents related to IP and commercial law
• Provide legal risk assessment and strategic advice

Candidate Requirements

• Law degree from a recognized university
• Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in IP law
• Hands-on knowledge of trademark registration procedures, TM journals, copyright & design law
• Exceptional drafting and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Team player with independent problem-solving skills
