About the Internship

Anantam Legal is inviting applications for its long-term legal internship program beginning August 2025 onwards. The internship is designed for students currently in their 4th or 5th year of a 5-year law program or the final year of a 3-year LL.B. course.

Interns will work closely with senior advocates on live client matters, including criminal trials, commercial disputes, and civil litigation. From drafting and document vetting to court visits and legal research, the role provides a well-rounded litigation exposure.

Format and Structure

This is a long-term, in-office internship focused on litigation and practical court exposure. The interns will:

• Assist in drafting complaints, petitions, and notices
• Conduct legal research for criminal, civil, and commercial law cases
• Attend court proceedings and take notes
• Handle file management, document compilation, and legal formatting
• Prepare case briefs and assist in trial preparation

Candidates will be evaluated based on their drafting accuracy, legal reasoning, punctuality, and professional conduct.
