About the Event
Exponent Energy is inviting applications from final-year law students and recent graduates for a 6-month, full-time legal internship based at their Bangalore headquarters. This role offers practical exposure to corporate and regulatory law within the context of a fast-growing technology and clean energy startup.
Interns will work directly with Exponent’s in-house legal team and participate in live projects that involve legal documentation, risk assessment, regulatory compliance, and commercial contract management.

Format and Structure
Interns will work on-site in Bangalore under close supervision and mentorship from the internal legal and operations team. The internship is designed to offer real-time legal exposure through the following core responsibilities:
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents including NDAs, commercial contracts, and service agreements.
- Conducting regulatory and legal research, particularly relating to EVs, batteries, imports, and energy compliance.
- Managing and organizing internal contractual and legal databases.
- Assisting in legal audits, compliance monitoring, and contract repository management.
- Providing day-to-day legal and administrative support to the legal team and leadership.
Interns will also participate in weekly legal reviews, documentation discussions, and strategy calls.

Venue: Exponent Energy HQ, Bangalore
Mode: In-Office (Full-time)
Working Hours: Standard business hours, Monday to Friday

Eligibility
